1. Market data
Market data for PricingMonkey is provided by your existing third-party data providers. Users are responsible for ensuring they use that data in accordance with their license. Pricing Monkey Ltd confirms PricingMonkey does not transmit market data sourced from your third party providers, or results from that market data, over the internet.
Calculations involving market data from your third-party providers are performed locally on the computer used to access the site.
2. Monitoring usage
We use Google Analytics (Google Inc.), Amplitude Analytics (Amplitude Inc.), Sentry (GetSentry, LLC.), Mezmo (Mezmo Inc.), and DigitalOcean (DigitalOcean, LLC) to monitor website usage and performance. This helps us understand how users interact with our website and to improve user experience. The information sent to these services is anonymised.
3. Cookies
We use cookies to facilitate login, to improve user experience and to better understand how users interact with our services and website. Some of these cookies are created by third party tools which include: Google Analytics, Amplitude Analytics and LinkedIn Analytics.
4. Trade string interpretation
Trade descriptions you input into PricingMonkey are transmitted over the internet and interpreted remotely. This information is anonymised. We host this service at DigitalOcean and AWS (Amazon Web Services, Inc.).
5. Blotter Data
Data that represents the contents of blotters is stored securely on a remote server managed by MongoDB Atlas (MongoDB, Inc.) and hosted on Google Cloud (Google LLC).
6. Securing your information
We take all measures reasonably necessary to protect user information from unauthorized access.
7. Retention policy
Pricing Monkey will keep the following information on users who request a trial in order to manage, support and bill users on the system: name, email address, phone number and company. We retain information on users for 7 years after their account has been disabled unless we receive a request to remove it sooner.
This is because:
- All our users are offered one free trial and we need to keep a record of those who have had their trial.
- Many of our clients are expected to keep records for 7 years and to support them, we may need records covering that period.
8. Requesting A Correction Or Removal Of Data
We make reasonable efforts to ensure that the data that we have on our clients is up to date. If you wish to request a correction or removal of your data please email our customer support team at [email protected].
